reviewScore

A standard poster is ink on thin paper that fades and ripples over time. This is heavyweight artist canvas, printed with an 8-color system and hand-varnished in our studio. It is built to look the same in 20 years as it does today.

Stretch it (our recommendation). Mount it on wooden stretcher bars for the authentic oil painting look. Your print includes mirrored edges so the artwork wraps around all four sides with nothing cropped. Stretcher bars are widely available at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or on Amazon.

Frame it. Take it to any local framer for a custom fit. We recommend framing without glass so the texture and varnish finish stay visible.

"Surrender" by Dusko Pavic

She is not following. She is choosing.

Her leg hooks around him, her body leans in, and her face turns away just slightly as if the closeness is almost too much. He holds her from behind and does not move. The whole painting pulses in deep red and magenta, the background bleeding into her dress until you cannot tell where she ends and the heat begins.

This is tango. Not the performance version. The real one, where two people stop pretending they are not pulled toward each other.

For walls that should make a room feel alive.

Every Brushstroke preserved

Walk In. Stop. Stare.

A White Glove Experience

Every order is prepared by hand in our family studio in Limburg an der Lahn. We inspect, varnish, and pack each print ourselves before it leaves.

Inside the box you will find your canvas wrapped in acid-free tissue, a pair of white cotton gloves for handling, and our Certificate of Authenticity sealed with our custom "KO" wax signet. Every piece that leaves our studio carries this mark.

The Original Oil Painting

Museum Grade

Produced on heavyweight artist-grade canvas using an expanded 8-color system that goes far beyond standard printing. The result is a level of color depth and detail that preserves even the smallest palette knife stroke from the original oil painting.

Alive with Texture

Every print is hand-varnished with a protective satin finish that deepens the colors and brings out the texture of the original brushwork. The surface gains a soft, natural sheen that catches light the way a real oil painting does. It also shields the print from UV light, moisture, and dust for decades to come.

Some things can't be scaled.

About the Artist

Dusko Pavic has been painting with oil for over 40 years. Trained at the Art Academy in Sarajevo, he opened his first studio in Cologne in 1985 and has been a member of the Federal Association of Visual Artists (BBK) since 1991. His originals have sold to private collectors for thousands of dollars. Kotimondu makes his work accessible for the first time as hand-finished studio canvas prints.

Where It All Begins

Deep in the cellar beneath our gallery in Limburg, Dusko Pavic works the way he has for over 40 years. Oil paint, brushes, palette knife, canvas. The floor is covered in decades of color. Every print in our shop started here.

Gallery Wrapped Edges

The edges of every print are mirrored extensions of the artwork itself, not white borders or stretched distortions. Once mounted on stretcher bars, the image flows seamlessly around all four sides for a clean, finished look from every angle. Hang it as a frameless gallery wrap or add a frame to match your style.
